Manual disc filtration systems are used to filtrate water with a high content of suspended solid particles, of inorganic nature, as sand, ground, debris, as well as to filtrate rain water, well water... Filters assemblies are strongly recommanded and necessary to keep good operation of drip irrigation equipments, especially for medium large sized companies. This filtration systems are the only to ensure depth and efficient filtration at even very high flow rates. The manual operation consists in inverting "manually" the water flow, thus starting the backflush cycle, cleaning the filtrating elements from all solids captured. Sometimes backflush cycles are delivered with anti-scalant chemicals for more cleaning. Ordinary maintenance consists in simply periodically disassembling the filter and washing the disc spine.
Filtration units are supplied completely assembled, with a standard filtrating grade of 120 mesh, but other grades are available on demand. Filtration units are equipped with manometers, to monitorate suction and drain pressure, manual three-ways valves, polypropylene manifolds.
